M50创意空间/M50 Creative Space

  本次 M50 创意空间邀请到一群中国和德国的艺术家自 4 月 15 日到 4 月 23 日在本空间进行为期 10 天的展出。

这个群体由如下四个核心成员。 Conny Linnhoefer ，何振浩， Ping Lu and Elke Martini ， 并且这个群体会邀请其他国际和中国的艺术家与他们一起展览。这次在创意空间（莫干山路 6 号楼 102 室）参展的艺术家还有徐辰衣 ( 中国 ),  Christopher Stenger ( 德国 ) 。

尽管这个群体中每个人有着不同的文化背景，有很不同的艺术风格，从丙烯画，油画，以及使用丰富多彩颜色现代艺术和照片，但是艺术家们通过艺术作品找到了一种共识，于是便有了《艺术使我们在一起》这次展览。

虽然他们没有共同的语言，虽然在这个群体交流时，用的是中文，英语，德语的混杂，但是他们共同的语言就是艺术，艺术使不同的文化和国籍之间艺术家们有一个动感交流的平台。

Art Unifies Us – New Faces

Art Unifies Us is the theme behind a group of Chinese and German artists. The group

consists of four core members - Conny Linnhoefer, Zhenhao He, Ping Lu and Elke Martini.

The group then invites other international and Chinese artists to exhibit with them.

Guest artists who are participating at the exhibition at the Creative Art Space, Moganshan Lu, building 6 – 102 are  Chenyi Xu (Chinese),  Christopher Stenger (German).

Conny Linnhoefer says we use the theme “Art Unifies Us” because despite the cultural differences

between individuals in the group, we have found a common understanding through our

art. We have a wide spectrum of styles ranging from acrylic paintings, oil paintings, modern

art using vibrant colors and photographs. “Art Unifies Us” allows us to have a dynamic

exchange between different cultures and nationalities. The common language in the group

is art as we do not have a common spoken language. Communication within the group is

always an interesting mix of Chinese, English and German.Art Unifies Us – New Faces

韩家泉，唐狄鑫，肖江的绘画展《七上八下》将于3 月揭开M50 创意中心2011 年展览的序幕。来自不同成长背景的三位艺术家都还处在探索阶段，作品中呈现出的一些不确定性也反射出这种“七上八下”的状态。寻找、思索和尝试正是这个阶段里的重要部分。

韩家泉的作品强调绘画中的真实。绘画中的真实可以是画者冷峻观察的结果；可以是冥想之后的痕迹；可以是对象与精神交融的呈现；也可以是画者在物象上结合自己各种嗜好的产物。它的可信之处在于这些无不是人的各种痕迹的表露，其中就包括想象。

唐狄鑫的作品探索的是某种建立在个人情感上的真实需求，希望能带给观众一些反应，能去思考一下自己的本来。绘画的方式呈现了他感官逻辑和极端个人化的现场。或是矛盾，或是矛盾的幽默，或是感官上被他莫名联系起来的细节，试图抓住这一瞬间，一页接着一页。

肖江的作品貌似也在强调真实性，但是画面本身被浓烈的氛围感所包围。似是无声却有声，在沉默中传递着力量。其描绘的场景大多取材于电影和生活的片段。这些场景往往因人们的习以为常而被忽略，但在艺术家独特的视角之下，他们被截取和再组合。灵感虽来自于现实，但构建的是绝对的想象，让观众仿佛游走在虚实之间。

本次展览将于2011 年3 月5 日开始，直至4 月2 日结束。

  "At Sixes and Sevens", the painting exhibition on March from three artists--Han Jiaquan, Tang Dixin, Xiao Jiang, will lift the curtain on the 2011 exhibitions of M50 Creative Space. Three artists from different backgrounds are all at exploratory stage, and the uncertainty presented in their works shows that their condition is "at sixes and sevens". Searching, thinking and trying new ways are important parts of this stage.

  Works from Han Jiaquan emphasize the reality existing in the paintings, which can be the result of cool observation from the artist, or the traces after meditation, or the presentation of the blending of object and spirit, or the  production of artist's attaching his habits to the object. The credibility of the reality lies in the fact that all that mentioned above is the reveal of various artificial traces, imagination included.

  Tang Dixin is trying to explore a kind of authentic need based on personal affection in his works, also hoping to respond to the audience and to make them think about their inner selves. Painting helps to demonstrate his sensual logic and extreme private scene. Contradiction, ambivalent humor or details he recall sensually, these are the things he tries to grasp, page by page.

  Works from Xiao Jiang also seems to emphasize authenticity, but the paintings themselves are surrounded by a strong sense of atmosphere. Seemingly silent but sound, his works are passing on energy through the silence. Xiao Jiang’s works have drawn its materials from the episode of movies and real life, which are so familiar to people but easily ignored. Under artist’s unique perspective, they are cut out and recombined. Xiao Jiang takes his inspiration from the reality but structures an absolute fantasy world, leading the audience to dislocated visionary feelings.

  The exhibition will open on March 5^th , and last until April 2^nd .

那里，曾经是岑参笔下的走马川，

他故园东望路漫漫，双袖龙钟泪不干。

而今，诗意的孤烟隐入历史，

边塞的绝唱只在纸上被人记诵，

乡愁变得寡淡。

工业文明于戈壁边缘燃起硝烟，

在镜头下，工业的硝烟带着绿色，蓝色，灰色，

冷漠，不带感情。

月色模糊。

工业文明踏在农牧文明的尸体上，

它向诗意宣战，

那于戈壁边缘矗立的工厂是让诗意落寞的战场，

硝烟是绿色，蓝色，灰色和橙黄色，

戈壁的风吹不散。

秦时明月汉时关，

月色模糊，

硝烟四起 ……

工业化是各国经济发展过程中不可逾越的一个阶段。虽然以工业文明为代表的 “ 旧经济 ” 时代正在逝去，以高新技术、信息产业发展为代表的 “ 新经济 ” 时代正在向我们走来，但是旧工业化仍在，长久以来伴随着经济发展产生的环境污染正在无情的讨伐人类 , 中国西部地区在工业化过程中面临的最大挑战莫过于环境的破坏和恶化 , 这已经成为制约中国西部地区发展的主要障碍之一。

Smoke from Industry

There, it used to be smoke from the desert and the sun set upon the river.

There, it used to be the place where Cen Shen wrote in his poem.

He looked from the east and there was a long way and tears could not help falling.

However now, the lonely smoke evolved in the history.

The peak of poetic perfection on frontier fortress could only be remembered on paper.

The nostalgia fades.

The industrial civilization begins at the rim of the frontier fortress.

In the camera, smoke from industry is green, blue and grey

Indifferent and emotionless

Moon light is vague

Industrial civilization is based on the corpse of the agriculture civilization

It challenges the poetry.

The factory standing on the rim is a desperate battlefield for the poetry.

The smoke is green, blue, grey and orange,

The wind could not blow them away

People keep fighting with each other on the frontier fortress

The moon light is misty,

Here arises the smoke from industry….

The industrialization is an unbridgeable period in the process of economy development in every country. Though “old economy” times represented by the industrial civilization is fading while “new economy” times represented by high tech, information industry is coming to us, the old industrialization still exists. With the long-term development of economy, the environment pollution is punishing people cruelly. What the great challenge the western China faces is the deterioration of the environment during the process of the industrialization, which has become one of the major obstacles in restraining the development of western China.

本次M50 创意空间邀请到来自韩国的6 位艺术家自9 月22 日到9 月30 日在本空间进行为期10 天的展出。6 位艺术家以自己不同类型的艺术作品充分诠释出此次展览“ 钢琴与牙齿” 这个主题， 这 是另一中 风格 另一 个独 特的品牌 形式。                                                                                                     每位艺术家都以自己不同的理念充分表现出自己对主题的认知，并就这个主题展开了对 生命 与环境 的探讨和研究，使大家能在同一时间欣赏到 摄 影 艺术，雕塑艺术，绘画艺术及 表演 艺术。

参展艺术家 Johannes Zits 和 Ed Pien

2010 年 8 月 28 日～ 9 月 19 日， M50 创意空间 将推出 “ 重塑的大自然 ” 为主题的展览。来自多伦多的艺术家 Johannes Zits 和 Ed Pien 将通过他们的艺术作品，展示他们对重塑大自然这个主题的独到的见解和看法。

人是大自然的一部分，这是人们长久以来根深蒂固的想法。但是 Johannes Zits 采用不同媒体，技巧，工艺创作的作品，诠释了人的独立地位，表现了人与自然之间的和睦相处以及不断的抗争。参观者可以从他的作品《沙的活动》《斑点砂纹》感受到人相对自然的独立性。而 Ed Pien 的两个系列《消失中》和《薄薄的空气》利用场景和运动的深度变化手法，对光和阴影等大自然元素的描绘，使每个参观者都有着不同的体验和感受

Part 1 ：作者的信息作品化。作品的设计已符合大众艺术的需求。不光是造型上性能的意义上传达特定的信息。

Part 2 ：设计否定绝对的划分，追求多样性。比起对科学性方法的客观真理，对事务的见解和思考方式更加重要。

Part 3 ：设计的社会性意义和价值呈现一个新的境界。人文化的思考是对于过去设计的反射，对未来设计的新的地平线。

这次展览是名地大学设计学部为了亚洲权的设计交流且发展企划的展示。今年在新首尔（西交创作实验中心），北京（798.Gallery Da-Space ），上海（莫干山路）三个地方有序的展示，明年预计在首尔- 日本展示。

在本次主题展览中将以“风、雅、颂”为展示语言，从高桥直树先生

的作品中选取符合“风、雅、颂”艺术特色主题的作品进行分类。

《靳卫红纸上作品展》

香格纳画廊诚邀各位参加《靳卫红纸上作品展》。

靳卫红的作品无论是在造型上、画面构成上、还是在笔墨处理上，都与传统水墨画有着非常紧密的联系。靳卫红从现实生活中，成功地转换出了一些具有个人特点的艺术符号，并通过作品表达出了现代社会的人文气息以及一个当代女性艺术家对于现实世界的独特理解和感受。虽然她的艺术手法有着夸张与超现实的成分，但却直接切入了现实的本质。她画的人物往往冷得出奇，无欲无求，全然没有饮食男女的世俗生活印象。她们是一个个徒具女人性征和躯壳的游魂。走神的眼神，透露出对现实的抗拒和精神世界的渴求。她们甚至是中性的人，或是性别淡化的人。她们孤零零地寄生在水墨画的传统图式和语境之中，表达着艺术家对自我和自然人性的亘古疑惑和考问。

靳卫红，现生活和工作在南京。1989年毕业于中国南京艺术学院美术系中国画专业。2006年获南京艺术学院美术学博士学位。近期的展览包括：(2006) 秘火：靳卫红水墨作品展, 朱屺瞻艺术馆, 上海；（2000）靳卫红, ILSE LOMMEL 画廊, LEVERKUSEN, 德国；（2008）深度呼吸-中国当代女性艺术展, 苏河艺术，上海；（2002）快看!-上海浙江江苏安徽现代艺术展, 瑞士驻沪总领事馆, 上海   

‘Ink paintings by Jin Weihong’

 ShanghART is pleased to announce ‘Ink paintings by Jin Weihong’ —— Jin Weihong solo exhibition.

Jin Weihong uses the methods of traditional ink and wash paintings to create her images, which is distinct from the techniques used in realistic paintings. She has successfully transformed unique artistic symbols of her own from reality in order to express the unique perspective of a modern female’s reality. Her works seize the essence and nature of reality, although the paintings include some exaggerated and surrealistic elements. The figures in Jin Weihong's paintings are surprisingly cool female characters, detached from all the desires and demands of any ordingary in the living world. They are neuter, or at least they are supposed to be seemed so. Like parasite to traditional in painting patterns and context, their loneliness is a question and everlasting serching of the artist on ego and natural humanity.

Jin Weihong, works and lives in Nanjing of P.R.China. She graduated in Nanjing Art Institute in 1989, major Chinese painting. She was holding the degree of doctor of art in 2006. has participated in numerous exhibitions including, (2006) Hidden Fire: An Exhibition on Jin Weihong's Ink Painting, Zhu Qizhan Art Museum, Shanghai; (2000) Jin Weihong solo exhibition, Galerie Ilse Lommel, Leverkusen, Germany; (2008) Deep Breath-Chinese Contemporary Female Art Exhibition, Creek Art, Shanghai; (2002) Quick Look!-Shanghai Zhejiang Jiangsu Anhui Contemporary Art Exhibition, Consulate General of Switzerland, Shanghai

“色彩值——黑红金”项目旨在汇聚公众对德国象征及其公开展示的各类形式所持的视角、态度和立场。
2009年3月以来，一批设计师和艺术家受邀肩负起将德国国旗这一象征力量与权势的符号元素融入艺术创作的使
命。此外，人物与国旗两种元素完美结合，刻画出社会各界人士心目中的德国印象。项目开展至今，已有来自不同
国家的100多位创作家加入此次艺术行动。
项目在德国成功启动以来，先后于2009年10月和2010年2月在柏林举办了两届艺术作品展览，并拟于北京时间
2010年3月20日星期六下午16:00在上海莫干山路50号创意空间举办“色彩值——黑红金”项目启动仪式。本次活
动亦是将于2010年5月1日开幕的2010年上海世博会德国展系列活动的先声。
展览期间，项目将邀请中国艺术家和设计师共同参与此次艺术行动。与此同时，活动期间将挑选公众与德国国
旗两种元素进行艺术结合。项目计划于2010年世博会期间展出入选的艺术作品，随后还将在中国其他城市和德国展
出。
项目发起人Robert Eysoldt：“透过‘色彩值—黑红金’艺术行动，可折射出持怀疑态度者与积极响应者的
立场以及两者之间的分歧。不拘主题、图文各异的艺术展会带来创意、反思和论谈。我们非常高兴能够在中国举办

”Farbwerte – SchwarzRotGold“
Project initiation in China and exhibition in Shanghai
Opening reception: Saturday, 20th March 2010, 4 pm – 8 pm

The project “Farbwerte – SchwarzRotGold” (colour values – redblackgold) is concerned with
collecting individual perspectives, attitudes and standpoints with view on the German identity and
its respective forms of public display. Since March 2009 a host of designers and artists are asked
to engage with the German flag by incorporating this powerful, yet polarizing symbol into works
of art. In addition people from various areas of the society are portrayed together with the
German flag, illustrating their individual view on Germany. Until now over 100 participants from
various countries have contributed to the initiative.
After the successful launch of the project during two exhibitions in October 2009 and February
2010 in Berlin, Farbwerte – SchwarzRotGold will kick-off its activities in Shangai with an opening
reception on Saturday, 20th of March 2010, 4 pm at M50 Creative Space. In a way being the
harbinger of German activities throughout the EXPO 2010, which will be opened on the 1st of May
2010 in Shanghai.
Beginning with the opening of the exhibition, artists and designers from China will be taking part
in the further creative development of the project. At the same time selected individuals will be
portrayed together with the German flag. It is intended that the resulting works of art will be
shown during the EXPO 2010, in other Chinese cities and in Germany.
Farbwerte init iator Robert Eysoldt: „The project „Farbwerte – SchwarzRotGold“ reflects
scepticism and enthusiasm and the resulting variety of standpoints and opinions. The diversity of
the objects, images and the respective texts cause a creative impulse necessary for reflection and
discourse. We are more than happy to be able to present and continue our project in China“

M50 Creative Space is affiliated with M50 (50 Moganshan Road) – the art hub of Shanghai. Inaugurated in the beginning of 2009, M50 attempts to provide space for the artists, independent curators, designers and art groups to launch exhibitions. M50 Creative Space has worked with some curators, galleries and artists from China and overseas on several gorgeous shows from its beginning till now.

 2010 is a special year for Shanghai: Expo will be held in Shanghai from May to October; the Shanghai Biennale in September and two art fairs in every September etc. All these make Shanghai an international focus in 2010.  10月16日韩国艺术家李到炫(Lee Dohyeon) 的个展在创意中心开幕. 这次展出的是艺术家在中国的几个月中创作的新作品，作品涉及油画, 装置, 动画和雕塑等. 创意中心展出作品的同时,艺术家位于M50 (莫干山路50号) 的工作室也同时开放, 动画和装置等作品在工作室内展出. 展览将持续到月底结束.

四位参加《安静，不说话》展览的艺术家来自不同的地域和文化背景。无论是摄影作品还是雕塑作品都呈现出安静的表象，但是又因各自的人生经历与观察点不同，每件作品又都蕴涵着强大的不安与不同程度的躁动。

出生于日本的阿琦·路迷目前在巴黎居住和工作。他的作品总是呈现出有序与无序的混沌状态：无论是《花园》系列中缠结虬曲的树干、藤蔓和枝叶；《机械》系列的电缆线和软管；《Trace》的直线、曲线和转角，无一不是。

许敌的照片作品充分体现了他生于八十年代的特点。海鲜是他在作品中经常运用的元素，但是在他的作品中海鲜这个作为时代主流消费品的元素却往往以腐烂、变质或者怪异的形象出现。从新鲜到腐烂、从高档到变异，一切都变化的非常快，尤其取决于你观察的角度。

1979年生于云南普洱的张华，是近几年西南地区较为活跃的年轻艺术家之一。他在作品中用特殊的方式来表达静止的力量。布纹似的褶皱将山水、人物扭曲夸张变形。貌似安静的外表却形成了紧张的氛围。

奥诺黛拉·有机1962年出生于东京，现居住在巴黎。她把平常事物置于奇特背景之中，质疑它的内在特性和观者的感觉。她的作品表达出对观众习以为常的形象的新的观察力，并挑战了一个人是怎样无意识地附加意义给其他日常事物，思想和生活。

M50 创意空间附设于上海著名的当代聚集地：M50创意园。成立于2009年年初，其功能是为了给更多希望能在M50举办展览的艺术家、独立策展人、设计师和一些文化艺术团体提供展览的空间。

The exhibition “Be Quiet” brings together four artists from various culture backgrounds and locations. Their works all reveal an air of quietness no matter in the form of photography or sculpture. However, due to their different life experiences and perspectives, every piece of work implies great chaos and enormous restlessness.

Born in Japan, Aki Lumi now lives in Paris. His works always reveal a state of order and disorder: We can see this state of dilemma in his works including the tangling branches, vines and leaves in the <Garden>; the cable and tube in the <Mechanics >; and also the beeline, the curve and the corner in the <Trace>.

Born in 1980s, Xu Di’s photography fully demonstrates the feature of the 80s. Sea food is a frequent element in Xu’s works, but the sea food is no longer a leading popular consumption in his workings, it has been displayed to us as a rotten, deteriorated and queer image. From freshness to rottenness, from superiority to deterioration, everything changes quickly and it especially depends on your perception.

Born in Pu Er, Yunnan 1979, Zhang Hua is one of the active artists in the southwestern in the recent years. He uses a special way to express the power of the quietness. The wrinkled cloth exaggerates and distorts the shape of the mountain, the river and the person. Although the surface of the works appears to be calm and quiet, it can form a quite intense atmosphere.

Born in 1962 Tokyo, Yuki Onodera now lives in Paris. She enjoys putting ordinary things into a unique background so as to dig out its inner feature and to discover the viewers’ feeling as well. A new perspective is provided in the way she disposes usual things and by this way, Yuki puts a challenge on how a person can add meanings to usual things unconsciously, which affect others’ thought and life profoundly.

Creative M50 Space is affiliated with M50 Creative Garden—the contemporary art hub of Shanghai. Inaugurated in the beginning of 2009, Creative M50 Space attempts to provide space for the artists, independent curators, designers and art groups to launch exhibitions in M50.
